- How does Mojiva work?
Mojiva analyzes content from your mobile pages and determines/identifies relevant, targeted keywords and then matches those against advertiser mobile ads. Further targeting capabilities allows an advertiser to show ads on your mobile pages based on your visitor’s location (Geo targeting), mobile device characteristics (type of phone and OS), time and content channel (blog, forum, social network) etc…
Setting up for an account with Mojiva is entirely free and Mojiva pays you (publisher) for clicks delivered from the ads that are shown on your mobile pages.
- Does Mojiva work with UGC (user generated content) such as blogs, forums social networking sites etc…?
Yes, Mojiva already works with high profile and successful blogs and social networking publisher sites.
- Where does the ad show up on my site?
Ads show up where you copy the “install code” on your mobile sites. If you copy them to a template header/footer of your mobile sites – then your ads will automatically displayed throughout the website based on each pages content and keywords relevancy.
- Can I customize the look & feel of the mobile ad?
Absolutely! You may customize the mobile ad when generating the “install code”.
- Can I have my own advertisers on the Mojiva platform?
Mojiva White Label platform solution allows larger established networks or premium publishers to sell and manage their own mobile advertising campaigns. The platform is fully customizable and brandable with the ability to create separate pricing packages for each of your advertisers. Various features like in-depth real-time metrics, dashboard interface and targeting capabilities along with other tools are included with the platform.
- Can I add more than 1 mobile site to my account?
Sure. You may do so by logging into your publisher account and following the process to “Add New Site”. Our Quality Compliance team will review your account and you should be all set after being approved!
- What about fraud? How does the Mojiva platform tackle this issue?
Artificially generating any impressions/clicks on the platform is strictly prohibited. Mojiva rigorously monitors every action on the ads to prevent any kind of abuse. Mojiva uses several algorithms to fight fraud like pattern checking, CTR analyzing for suspicious performance patterns, IP logging and records all information like IPs, browsers, proxies and also CPS and black lists are maintained to analyze and ban abnormal activities.
Some of the prohibited methods include repeated manual clicks, automated clicking using robots or other software. The platform also performs manual user-verification of ad clicks if it detects any kind of suspicious behavior. Clicking on your own ads is prohibited. It is also prohibited to force users to click your ads or provide incentives for doing so.
Contextual Mobile Advertising
- What is Contextual Mobile Advertising?
Mojiva is a smart technology platform that crawls through millions of publisher mobile sites to discover relevant keywords utilizing several intelligent algorithms and indexes them to empower the contextual mobile advertising system. What does this mean to you? The system will automatically determine the most-relevant ad to display on your mobile website. More relevant ads = higher response rate = more earnings for you! By placing the “install code” on your mobile pages, Mojiva dynamically extracts your mobile content even if your content changes often (like forums, blogs or UGC content) – and place relevant ads to your users visiting your pages!
- Where are the ads coming from?
Mobile ads are purchased by advertisers and agencies by bidding on certain relevant keywords and publisher channels. Mojiva also has partnerships with third parties to be advertising partners to ensure the availability of relevant ads to our publishers.
- What can I do to optimize my mobiles sites to achieve the most relevant ads?
The platform targets ads based on the content of your mobile sites. Please be sure to place ads on mobile pages which have enough relevant content. If we are unable to display an ad for one of your pages, then we may run ads from our default channel.
- What about filtering ads? Can I filter the type of ads that show up on my site and can I block my competitor’s ads to show up on my site?
Yes, the platform’s “Competitor Ad Filter” feature allows you to specify URLs (a top level domain or sub-level of that domain) to block specific ads from appearing on your WAP pages. However this might decrease the number of advertiser ads that might be shown on your mobile sites thereby decreasing your earnings.
- Does Mojiva provide any guarantee to show relevant ads for my mobile sites?
No. The platform determines which ads to serve based on the content relevancy from the text extracted from each of your mobile pages. Mojiva does not guarantee it always has the inventory to match the ads for your content. During this time – we might show ads from our default channel. In addition to this, it might also be better for you since you might be receiving a higher cost-per-click from a default network than a relevant ad – which means more revenue for you.
- What happens if Mojiva Ad server cannot determine any ads for certain pages of my site?
This might happen if your mobile pages do not have enough content for the platform to be able to determine contextual ads. In this case, we would serve ads from our default channel (based on our inventory) or from 3rd party feeds.
The Setup Process
- How do I start?
Click on “Get Started” as a publisher and submit an application for the program. You will be required to confirm your email address by clicking on a verification link that is sent to the email address you specified. Once this is done – you can login to your account and start adding your payment details and creating new sites! You will get an “ad install code” which you can copy onto your sites. Once done – your sites will go through a review process by our QC team and after you are approved you will automatically start seeing ads on your mobile sites and start earning money!
- How quickly will mobile ads start displaying on my site?
After setting up your sites with the “ad install code” and being approved by our QC team – your ads will start showing up on your mobile sites within 1-2 hours!
- Who are your other mobile publishers for Mojiva?

- Can I modify or make changes to the Mojiva install code?
No you may not. Making modifications to the install code might affect the behavior of the ads displayed on your sites and might have an impact on your earnings.
- Are there any eligibility criteria to get accepted as a Mojiva Publisher?
Yes. There are certain policies your mobile website must comply in order to be qualified into the Mojiva publisher program. Please review our publisher requirements page before creating an account with us. Important note: we may change our requirements at any time and per Mojiva Terms & Conditions; it will be your responsibility to a keep up-to-date and follow the posted requirements correctly.
- How does Mojiva enforce program rules?
Upon creating a new publisher account, all publisher mobile sites are automatically reviewed by our Quality Compliance team to ensure full compliance with Mojiva requirements. We also continuously monitor all publisher sites to ensure continued compliance with the requirements & policies. Failure to comply with the policies will result in a temporary suspension or in some cases termination of accounts with no payment for clicks/impressions delivered.
- Can I have multiple accounts within Mojiva?
There is no need to create multiple accounts since the Mojiva platform allows you to create multiple mobile sites within the same account. However if you would still like to have different accounts – then sure you may do so!
- What if I am already part of another mobile network? Am I still eligible to signup?
Yes! However it is your responsibility to make sure you comply with the policies of your ad network when doing so.
- Can I display Mojiva Ads along with other mobile network ads?
Sure! You may insert Mojiva ads along with other mobile network ads on your sites/pages. However it is your responsibility to ensure you are not violating your mobile ad network policies by doing so.
- Are non-English mobile websites eligible to signup for the Publisher Program?
The Mojiva platform currently only supports English content mobile sites and has limited foreign-languages support. At this time, we request you to only participate in the Mojiva publisher program only if you have content in English.
- How much can I earn through Mojiva publisher program?
There is no limit to how much you can earn! There are two types of programs that the service provides: CPC (cost per click) and CPM (per 1000 impressions). CPC ads are available to everyone however CPM ads are only available to select premium publishers (contact sales for more info). Under the standard CPC model – advertisers only pay you for each valid click that your user performs on the advertiser’s contextual mobile ad. You will receive a percentage of the amount paid by advertisers for the valid clicks delivered from your mobile sites. Mojiva would send you a check in US dollars for the amount you earn a certain month within 60 days after the end of each calendar month.
- Does Mojiva guarantee the amount of money I can make?
Mojiva cannot guarantee the amount of money you can make. It highly depends on the type of traffic your site gets and other factors like the content of your pages and the availability of relevant ads in our inventory. However, we do work hard to optimize ad campaigns for better relevancy and ultimately better conversion for you therefore maximizing your earnings!
- How do I receive the payments?
You will get your Mojiva earnings check via check in US Dollars.
- When do I get paid?
Mojiva will send you a check in Net 60 days if your earnings balance is more than $100. If your account has a balance of less than $100, then it gets rolled over to the next payment schedule until your account balance is greater than $100.

- What kind of information does Mojiva gather from my mobile sites?
We only gather relevant keywords from your mobile sites. All information is stored in a strictly secured environment at all times..
- Why does Mojiva need my personal information?
Your personal information is strictly used for account management and communication during your participation in the program. All information is stored securely and not shared with any 3rd party.
- What if I want to cancel my Mojiva publisher account?
You may cancel your account at anytime. Please contact us via the helpdesk or phone to cancel your publisher account. After canceling your account, we request you to remove all “install code” from your mobile pages immediately. Any pending earnings will be paid to you via check in US dollars within 60 days after the end of the calendar month if balance is above $100 or by the end of the year if it is less than $100. We would request you to let us know why Mojiva couldn’t work for you. We strive to provide a great service to achieve your satisfaction and continue to improve the platform as we move forward. Any suggestions, feedbacks or comments from you would be appreciated. If publishers violate any of our rules – we reserve the right to terminate a publisher’s account at any time.
